OUR VALUES
Peace of God
Peace with God
We have peace with God through Jesus (Rom 5:1; Col 1:20), which is the restoration of our broken relationship with God. More than that, through Jesus’ work we now experience God’s peace in our hearts (Jn 14:27; 16:33 & Phil 4:7).
Salvation is being at peace or in right standing with God. A central value for us is seeing people experiencing salvation through the Gospel (Eph 6:15).
Peace between each other
Jesus as the Lord of Peace (2 Thess 3:16) “has destroyed the barrier, the dividing wall of hostility” (Eph 2:14) between people. Once we have peace with God, it must result in peace with others.
The vertical must become the horizontal. James states that if we sow peace, we will reap a reward of righteousness (Jam 3:18). Our heart is to see healing and restoration in families, marriages and the community at large.
Peace in life
Peace in the Bible describes the total well-being of a person's life. Shalom indicates welfare, health and completeness.
Our heart is to see people healed, restored, and shattered lives mended. People freed to walk in wholeness.
